Balancing Work and Wellness at Fort Myers’ Islands, Beaches and Neighborhoods

Sunny Greetings

In the fast-paced world of conferences and meetings, finding the perfect balance between work and wellness is essential. Fort Myers, nestled in the heart of Southwest Florida, not only offers an ideal setting for business gatherings but also provides a haven for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Here are some ways to incorporate attendees’ wellness, fostering a calm mind and stimulating innovation and creativity, at your next Fort Myers area conference.

Scenic Meeting Spaces:  Host your sessions at an array of venues surrounded by nature’s beauty.  Fort Myers’ unique natural settings offer an inspiring backdrop for your meetings, creating an atmosphere that fosters focus and creativity.

Mindful Breaks:  Encourage frequent short breaks that promote mindfulness.  Fort Myers provides serene outdoor spaces that attendees can take deep breaths, soak in the sunshine, and recharge for the next session. Here are some quick break-time exercises to revitalize your crew.

Wellness Activities:  Incorporate wellness activities into your conference agenda.  activities like guided stretching, mindfulness workshops, or even brief outdoor team-building exercises. These moments of reprieve can lead to improved concentration, heightened collaboration, and a surge in innovative thinking. Learn more - click here.

By infusing wellness into your conference agenda, you not only address the physical needs of your attendees but also create an environment conducive to high performance, innovation, and creativity. With our natural beauty and wellness-oriented offerings, Fort Myers’ islands, beaches, and neighborhoods set the stage for conferences that leave a lasting impact.

We value your business, treasure our friendships, and hope you choose the
islands, beaches and neighborhoods of Fort Myers for your next conference.

Travel Tip Reminders

Most of us agree that arriving to your destination is much more pleasant when your checked luggage gets there too.  Some best practices for your checked bags are:

  • Take pictures of your luggage and its contents. If your checked bag doesn’t make its way to your destination, the airline offices will ask you for the brand name, size, and color of the bag, along with its contents.  Before you pack, it’s helpful to lay out what you are planning to pack and take a picture thereby creating a content record.
  • Set up independent tracking of your luggage. Such as putting a tag in your bag that connects with your electronic device to track your tag’s location.
  • ID your suitcases on the inside, too.  Put your contact information on the inside in addition to the outside of your bag, in case your outside luggage tag gets torn off.
  • Review your credit card coverage. Check your credit card policy for travel protection. You might get supplemental compensation (for what the airlines don’t cover) not only for lost bags, but also for reimbursements for things you may need to buy while you’re waiting for your bag.
  • Check airline’s tag destination.  Double-check your airline luggage tags and make sure they’re going to where you are going, especially if you’re doing curbside check-in.
