LEE COUNTY, FLORIDA – The ninth Island Hopper Songwriter Fest kicks off this weekend on Captiva Island. The tropical setting is the perfect way to welcome visitors and songwriters to Southwest Florida for the 10-day festival.

“Island Hopper brings great music, fun and visitors to our area, and we look forward to this event every year,” said Brian Hamman, the Lee Board of County Commissioners chairman who also serves as the chairman for the Tourist Development Council. “There are so many ways for everyone to experience Island Hopper, we encourage everyone to come out and be a part of it.”

The four locations and dates for Island Hopper include:

  • Captiva Island, Sept. 22-24
  • Cape Coral, Sept. 25-26
  • Downtown Fort Myers, Sept. 27-28
  • Fort Myers Beach, Sept. 29-Oct. 1
