Spend Thanksgiving week at the Fort Myers Tip-Off

Fort Myers Tip-Off, Suncoast Credit Union Arena, Fort Myers
The Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off returns Nov. 21-23. This year's men's slate will feature two four-team fields. The Beach Division includes Georgia Tech, Marquette, Mississippi State and Utah. The Palms Division features Long Island University, Northern Illinois, Sam Houston and South Dakota.

2022 will see the first-ever women's division as part of the Thanksgiving week hoops festival on Nov. 25-27. The inaugural Elevance Health Fort Myers Women's Tip-Off will showcase four teams including perennial NCAA Tournament teams DePaul and Maryland along with Towson and Pittsburgh.

Join Shangri-La Springs organic garden manager Cecelia Morales in a sensory-based walking tour of subtropical, tropical, annual and perennial crops and orchard. Learn about what makes a garden, organic garden methods and permaculture principles. Wear closed-toed shoes, sun protection such as hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and bring a refillable water bottle. 43rd Annual Turkey Trot 5k , Edison and Ford Winter Estates, Fort Myers
The Fort Myers Track Club continues its partnership with the Edison and Ford Winter Estates to host the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot 5k run/walk. The course will start and finish at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. The 5k begins at 7:30 a.m. and will be followed by a tot trot (ages 6 and under) at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. $30 for the 5k, $5 for the tot trot.
