The Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau's (VCB) newsletter is your guide to Hurricane Ian recovery efforts.

Road to Recovery: Fort Myers Brewing Company's mobile laundromat

In our "Road to Recovery" series, the VCB shines a spotlight on the stories of our industry partners. To be considered for an upcoming video, please contact Miriam Dotson, VCB communications manager, at mdotson@leegov.com.

Lee County's hotel rooms open for business

In less than six weeks after Hurricane Ian made landfall in Lee County, more than half – 52% – of the county’s guest rooms have been opened.

We’re going to see strong demand for the rooms that are now open. And we are confident visitors will come back as soon as the area is ready to welcome them. Their passion for Southwest Florida hasn’t changed.

With the Oct. 19 reopening of the Sanibel Causeway bridge, this milestone of about 7,600 rooms opening throughout Lee County is another step in the right direction.

We look forward to seeing you at the Tourist Development Council meeting at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10. Please click here for the meeting agenda.
