Two restaurants are ready to open and a third local dining spot is in the works at the new Entrada development on the northeast corner of Old 41 and Bonita Beach Road in Bonita Springs.

The Bohemian, a new local restaurant concept from the owners of nearby Downtown Coffee & Wine Co. on Old 41 Road, sailed through its final inspections and is ready to debut probably the first week in March at Entrada, said Brandon Schewe, who co-owns the local businesses with his wife, Caitlin. “We’re getting there,” he said. “We are starting to prep this weekend and staff training will be the week after that.”

Defined as unconventional and artistic, The Bohemian will feature an eclectic menu, intimate dining options and a 15-seat bar for beer, wine and cocktails made with wine-based spirits. Expect about 50 seats inside and 50 seats outside at umbrella tables or under an overhang.

In the unit next door, the seventh location for Napoli on the Bay Pizzeria also is scheduled to open soon. Operating for more than 35 years in Naples and Collier County, the local pizzeria also offers pasta dishes, calzones, stromboli, subs, salads, soups, appetizers and desserts.

Steve Hovland of Naples-based Hovland Real Estate has been sorting through about a dozen tenant prospects for a larger endcap restaurant space at Entrada. “I’ve got a good group that’s willing to do a Miami-style, modern seafood company and liquor bar. It’s not signed yet so I can’t tell you who they are,” he said. “We want them to be a perfect match with The Bohemian and Napoli and the other businesses there.”

The restaurant will be built out this spring and summer for a possible fall opening, Hovland said. It’s going to be a 150-seat seafood restaurant if Hovland has his way. The space along Bonita Beach Road will have 3,400 square feet inside and another 2,000 square feet of patio dining space, Hovland said. “It will have a good outdoor dining experience,” he said.

Entrada, an extensive local redevelopment project, was the site of the First National Bank of Bonita Springs office, built in the 1960s and added onto in the ‘70s and ‘80s. Entrada’s tenants include Braxton College, a first responder training school; and Access Holistic Healing & Hypnosis, a holistic wellness center on the second floor.

“We’re going to come out good and it’s going to be a landmark. It’s going to be a success for the next 50 years or so,” Hovland said. “We have confidence in our location, we know we’ll always have a top location for someone who can handle the volume.”
